Accessibility statement
The SIK Immobilienkontor GmbH (Schwanenwik Immobilienkontor) is committed to making its website schwanenwik.de accessible to all people and usable without external assistance. This statement applies to all pages on schwanenwik.de.
The standard is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 in the conformance level AA, to which the European standard EN 301 549 and the Barrier-Free Enhancement Act (BFSG) also refer.
Compliance status
The website largely complies with the requirements of WCAG 2.1 AA. In October 2026, we improved, among other things, contrast, added a significantly visible keyboard focus, clearly named all form fields and controls, and removed decorative graphics for screen readers. You can customize font size, contrast, line spacing, and other display settings using the icon at the bottom left.
Not fully accessible content
The following content is not yet or not fully accessible:
- Maps: The embedded Google maps are not fully operable via keyboard. Therefore, a text link to Google Maps is provided under each map. The locations are also described in text, and our office address is provided as text on the contact page.
- Property photos: Images in our listings are taken from our property management system; their alternative texts describe the space, but not every detail.
- External sites: The exposé landing pages of our service provider Propstack and the embedded third-party services are not within our control.
- Videos: The video in the header area of the homepage is purely decorative and contains no information; it does not start when “Reduce motion” is set in your system.
We are working on improving these points gradually.
